A large exhibition on quake relief, called “Shock of Wenchuan May 12 to
June 12 Diaries”, was held at Jianchuan Museum one month after the Wenchuan
Earthquake. The exhibition displays a representative scene of each day of the
past month so that the audience will have the feeling of reading the pages of a
quake relief diary, and be able to find out a series of major events after the
quake, which is the first exhibition of its kind in China.
The exhibition is divided into 30 small exhibit halls to display over 1,000
pieces of items. Every hall displays the events on the special one day by
physical articles, pictures and letters. The exhibition opened to the public
from 14:28 p.m.June 12, just at the moment of the occurrence of the quake one
month ago.
